Many courses at Adelphi University include a research component, such as a survey, field research or participant observation. In addition, students are encouraged to conduct independent research projects in particular fields of interest.

Internships

Many of our students have completed internships at a variety of organizations and institutions, including media-related venues, advocacy organizations and law and social justice groups on Long Island, as well as the greater New York metropolitan area.
