The first year's content is completely irrelevant to computer science and from second year onwards you will start learning computer subjects The teaching should be done with new techniques and not just that old classroom kind teaching
There are a few scholarships but I don't know about them. You can directly contact the administration regarding this. Or you can check it on college website Gtbit.ac.in .

Faculty to student ratio is ok and even faculty is also good and we can interact with teachers easily and they will solve your doubts. But I think due to the old curriculum many subjects are irrelevant to computer science The whole first year was completely irrelevant to computer science There was no computer science subject
The course curriculum is not at par with the current modern industry standards and requires modification. I think new courses should be introduced focussed more on practical learning and less on theoretical knowledge. Moreover, in the present practical subjects also the practicals are those which have no use when applying for ny internship or company interview, So i think the practicals should be changed in that way, so that we are able to do well in our interviews and the chances of on campus selection increase. This problem is not particularly with my college but i think all the colleges in India need to do so.
Onward 6 semesters students become eligible for campus placements and there will be big companies that visit our college such as Wipro Accenture genpact Infosys and the avg package will be 5 lakhs approx 90% students gets placed
