Delhi University has released an official notification stating that the intermediate semester students will be promoted to the next semester. However, the students who failed or were absent in any of the papers, will have to qualify those exams in the next semester or year.

In addition to this, Delhi University allows students to appear for the improvement examination in the next semester. 

As per the official notification, the students who will be promoted as the one-time measure due to COVID-19 pandemic will be awarded marks on the basis of internal assessment.

The students can also reappear for the examinations in the next year, if they wish to improve their scores. To check the Delhi University Official Notification Click Here

The Delhi University notification released states that the students will be promoted based on grading, which will be a combination of marks scored in internal assessments and previous semester.

50% marks will be allotted to internal evaluation and 50% to the previous semester. The first year students who have no previous records, will be promoted on the basis of assignment based evaluation.
