Aspirants seeking admission to 6 month Full-time METO Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement: 

• Candidate should have Passed Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as separate subjects with minimum 50 % marks in the English Language at 10th or 12th standard exam.
• Passed three year’s Diploma with 60% marks in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication / Communication Engineering, or Electronics and Instrumentation or equivalent.

Age limit: 

Candidate must be Below 35 Years.

Medical standard: 

Candidates should be physically fit for sea service under standard norms, with eyesight up to (+ or -) 2.5 with no colour blindness.
